Postion1: Associate Dean of Graduate School
We are looking for a seasoned administrator to serve as the Associate Dean of the University Graduate School. The Associate Dean will be stationed at the Guangzhou campus to assist the Dean in the formulation and implementation of strategic plans and policies in postgraduate (PG) education.
Duties:
The appointee will play a key role in the planning and implementation of the full spectrum of PG-related work before and after the commencement of university, which is planned to officially open in the fall of 2022. He/ She will assist the Dean, along with the Associate Dean at the HK Campus, to ensure consistent policy and quality control over all PG programs, coordinate student recruitment and admission, as well as provide all-rounded oversight of entire PG students’ qualification and graduation. He/She will be a key member of the Graduate School to partner with academic units and other stakeholders to ensure high quality of PG education; build a vibrant and perse PG student community; help PG students navigate their degree and empower them to thrive while adhering to policies and rules; and foster an environment to encourage cross-campus and cross-disciplinary interaction and collaboration among PG students.
The appointee will provide oversight of student outreach and admissions, PG program and professional development as well as planning, policy and general administration, with a primary focus on the Guangzhou campus. Major responsibilities include the following:
1. Formulate and implement PG recruitment plans to attract the best talent internationally and enhance persity;
2. Oversee PG student admission to uphold high student quality, establish procedures and systems in the GZ context, ensure compliance with policies and regulations;
3. Oversee the effective planning and delivery of student registry services and development of Student Information System;
4. Support the development of PG degree programs and courses, and monitor the quality of program/course delivery;
5. Serves on relevant committees as needed;
6. Develop and implement academic administration policies on PG education and allocation of Postgraduate Studentships;
7. Enhance procedures and develop documentation in alignment with the University’s quality assurance framework;
8. Collaborate with the counterparts at the HK campus on integration of practices on the two campuses and cross-campus arrangements;
9. Lead a team of Mainland-based administrative staff and oversee all HR, budgetary and administrative matters in the Mainland office
10. Lead other PG-related initiatives
Qualification Requirements:
1. A good master’s degree or above;
2. Substantial administrative experience in the tertiary education sector at a senior level; experience in PG education and administration in an international research university setting is highly desirable;
3. Understanding of and knowledge of the current development of PG education in Hong Kong, the Mainland as well as in the international arena;
4. Strong leadership and experience in driving priority initiatives under rapidly evolving situations;
5. Proven track record of management experience at a senior level;
6. Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Putonghua); and
7. Excellent interpersonal skills; demonstrated capability of communicating effectively and working collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels and across cultures.
Position 2: Deputy Director/Assistant Director of General Logistics Office
工作职责
Duties
1. Responsible for the overall planning and guidance of the daily work of the General Logistics Office;
2. Manage the construction of campus service support system, and explore the needs of students and staffs in the university;
3. Monitor campus safety and security, including fire safety, transportation safety, property safety etc., and handle emergency incidents;
4. Responsible for the maintenance and repair of campus buildings, mechanical and electrical facilities, and maintaining campus environmental sanitation;
5. Establish the relevant rules and regulations and archives of logistics management in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Mainland;
6. Responsible for team management in the General Logistics Office.

3.管理校园安全保卫工作,监督校园的消防安全,交通安全,财产安全,处理突发应急事件;

5.根据中国内地法律法规,建立健全后勤管理相关规章制度与档案;
6.负责后勤处团队人员管理与团队建设等工作。
工作要求
Qualification Requirements
1. A Bachelor’s degree or above, with more than 8 years of related working experience;
2. Proven experience in logistics and security management in universities or large enterprises is preferred;
3. Strong ability of communication and cooperation, resource scheduling and emergency handling;
4. Rigorous, honest and reliable, with strong sense of responsibility and service;
5. Good command in Chinese and English.

This is a Mainland appointment, and the appointee will be offered a contract by the University Mainland entity in accordance with the Mainland labor laws and regulations. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
