Following the motto of "Truth-advocating and beauty-loving", WTU strives for scientific spirit and artistic accomplishment, adheres to characteristic development and opening up policy, initiatively serves textile industry and local economic and social development. For the past six decades,WTU has established a wide range of disciplines covering science, engineering, liberal arts, economy, management and art with distinctive features and obvious strengths. To propel the project of "Double First-Class" Initiative, WTU has adopted the conception of "Utilizing talents as primary resource, primary capital, as well as primary driving force for long-term development" by establishing a more flexible, opening-up and diversified personnel selection mechanism. Consequently, an employment mechanism of "acquiring one's post by his competence and acquiring one's reward by his contribution" has come into existence to create a favorable environment for fair competition of talents cultivation as well as inspiring their vitalities. As the saying goes, new era ushers in new achievements.
